Teri made Salesforce fun! She came into our organization to get us started in building and customizing Salesforce for our non-profit food bank and kitchen. She was there step-by-step and promoted hands on learning. I highly recommend CommonTeri to help with any Salesforce needs.

Research Analyst at ILLUME Advising

Teri is an outstanding leader in the nonprofit sector who devotes herself to the success of any ventures in which she is involved. She is a truly innovative thinker with a heart for serving those in need. Her skill at nonprofit management, married with her understanding of appropriate technological solutions, make her ideal for leading nonprofits in the modern era of fast-paced change. While reporting to Teri at Reading & Radio Resource, I saw firsthand how she enabled the use of tech solutions to enable RRR to streamline its processes, expand its reach, and operate more efficiently. Perhaps most importantly, Teri also has a great understanding of how to create synergy between her own skills and talents and those of others, thereby creating strong, agile teams that work well together. At RRR, Teri recruited a strong, energetic team of individuals and allowed them to devise creative ways to bring the agency's message to a variety of audiences.

Fox in plane new

Prior to founding CommonTeri Services in 2014, Teri worked in both corporate IT and non-profit management including 6 years as Executive Director at Aberg Center for Literacy. She has been a passionate supporter of adult and family literacy ever since. Teri currently serves as the board president of Literacy Texas and the co-leader of the Dallas Salesforce User Group.

When not involved in technology or literacy, Teri uses her Winnetka Heights home as a makeshift community center where she hosts a weekly Dungeons and Dragons game and too many dinner parties to count. Teri tries to spend quality time with her banjo whenever she can.

Turner S. Jones started with CommonTeri Services in July 2017 and currently serves as its Chief Financial Officer. Turner was most recently an Audit Manager at KPMG LLP, where he specialized in financial statement audits of alternative investment vehicles. Turner started his career as an accounting intern at Aberg Center for Literacy while he was finishing his bachelors of business administration in Accounting at Southern Methodist University, and throughout his masters in accounting programs.

Turner enjoys traveling with his shepherd-lab mix Tony, and restoring his historic home in the Winnetka Heights neighborhood in Oak Cliff, Texas. Turner is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas.

Tommy Thompson, CEM

In May 2017, Tommy decided to retire from TRANE to spend more time with family. Forty-eight hours later he started his first day working with his daughter, Teri, where he affectionately has the title of Chief Executive Father. His years of programming experience in Building Automation Systems has rolled right over to Salesforce automation.

When not in front of his computer screen, Tommy is fixing something, building something, or playing a hot lick on the banjo while his wife, Lynda, is playing along on the bass. Tommy & Lynda live in Canton, TX where they are actively involved in Little Hope Baptist Church. Tommy is also the proud father of his NASA-employed daughter, Traci. Tommy is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Master Electrician.

Adrienne Clay

Most recently having served as CRM Administrator and Director of Operations at Philanthropy Southwest, Adrienne comes to CommonTeri Services with over 25 years of constituent relations and nonprofit management experience. She has been a Salesforce administrator since 2013, earning her Salesforce Administrator Certification in September of 2014.

When not working to meet CTS’s clients’ needs, Adrienne is an avid gardener, and enjoys other outdoor activities such as hiking and bicycling. She is a recent volunteer for the Botanical Research Institute of Texas and the Botanical Gardens in Fort Worth – her city of residence and hometown.
